Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent from a recognized board.
Desirable Qualification:
Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh’s customs, dialects, and local conditions.
Basic computer knowledge.
Age Limit:
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 45 years
Age relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Servicemen of Himachal Pradesh and government employees.
Other Eligibility Conditions:
Candidate must be registered on the One Time Registration (OTR) portal.
Bonafide Himachal residents are eligible for reservation benefits.
Reserved category candidates from other states will be considered under General category.
Mode of Selection
Computer-Based Test (CBT) / Written Screening Test – 120 Marks, 1½ hours
Syllabus:
85 Questions: Related to essential qualifications
35 Questions: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Logical Reasoning, General Hindi & English (Matric Standard)
Qualifying Marks:
General: 45%
SC/ST/OBC/Wards of Freedom Fighters: 40%
The Aayog may relax marks by up to 5% if insufficient candidates qualify.
