Candidates must fulfill any one of the following educational qualifications along with passing the HP TET (Medical):
Education Qualifications (any one of the following):
- B.Sc. (Medical) / M.Sc. in any Science Discipline
- Must have passed B.Sc. (Medical)
- Minimum 50% marks in either B.Sc. or Post Graduation
- 1-year / 2-year B.Ed. from NCTE recognized institution
- M.Sc. in Science Discipline
- Minimum 55% marks
- Plus 3-year Integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution
- 10+2 (Medical) with 50% marks + 4-Year B.El.Ed. (Bachelor in Elementary Education)
- 10+2 (Medical) with 50% marks + 4-Year B.Sc. (Non-Medical).Ed or B.Sc. (Medical).B.Ed.
- B.Sc. (Medical) with 50% marks + 1-Year B.Ed. (Special Education)
