The HPRCA Clerk Selection Process 2026 consists of a written examination followed by a qualifying typing skill test and document verification.
Stage 1: CBT / Written Screening Test
Candidates first appear for a 120-mark Computer Based Test/Written Screening Test of 1 hour 30 minutes duration.
The test consists of 120 objective-type questions, covering the prescribed HPRCA Clerk syllabus.
Stage 2: Typing Skill Test
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CBT merit are required to appear for a qualifying typing skill test.
The required minimum typing speed is:
- 30 WPM in English, or
- 25 WPM in Hindi
